Every year, Professional schools in Portugal need to attract more students and there is quite a competition among schools to enrol the most students. IG – Instituto de Gouveia (Gouveia Polytechnic school) is a small school in a small city of the interior of Portugal. This fact alone makes it rather hard for IG to call in new students, as opposed to bigger cities.

For this case, our approach to this problem was different from usual:
– We decided to create a new visual environment for this campaign, which certainly made a refreshing change from the ones school frequently use a completely different one from the usual school image often unappealing to students.
Our objective was to create an image which would be appealing to students and that would to get the attention of many prospective students.
By using strong and warm colours, in our bold images we depicted a teenager using technology and we placed a hashtag on the poster, with the objective of showing that this school is modern and embraces new technologies and social networks.
